Please see #3581.
@joegrohens, I can propose to add the Apply button in the header bar (same as for Event Attributes) which will allow the creator to save the changes without answering the questions. In this way we can keep the functionality of the Continue button (optionally the creator will have the ability to answer the questions as described in #3581: "The event admin may fill out the survey and hit the "Continue" button to see what will happen if an event attendee fills out the survey as the event admin just did."). @joegrohens please let me know if this solution is good enough and I'll implement it. cc @pmarkhennessy
@joegrohens as #3581 was resolved, do we want to do some additional changes?
I have additional changes to #3581. I will need to discuss them w Vanessa.
I still find the experience confusing.
(My request should be confirmed by Vanessa, though, before adding it.)
New wording:
This survey is ready to use. The survey will be sent to attendees by message in the app. Survey results will be available under Event Admin Settings. Go back to the Create an Event screen and tap Create Event to save your changes.
Note: We are also suggesting this change to the confirmation message in our edits to strings.en.json. So if that gets merged first, you may find the text already changed.
Describe the usability issue
Continue is dimmed. Tapping it says "Please answer all required questions to continue".
Expected behavior
The event creator should not need to answer the survey questions. The questions should not be marked as a required field in the "Add Survey" section of creating an event.
Correction
Enable the "Continue" button after only these required settings have been selected:
Survey: [choose from dropdown] How many hours: input number
