[USABILITY] How do admins of Groups access guest list, attendance, and surveys? #3783

Describe the usability issue v 5.0.74

As a Group Admin, I created an event from within my group. I required event registration, checked attendance, and sent a follow-up survey. After the event, I was not able to see the event any more, and therefore could not collect the survey information and attendance record.

How can event creators (hosts) in a group access the guest list, see the attendance, and read the follow-up surveys after the event ends? Can you provide a link to past events, for example?

Kathryn said that a link to an event sent in notifications still opens the event after the event has ended. So maybe that's a way.

I suggest event admins being able to see their past events but not all users. Related ticket: #3768

Hi @joegrohens and @vburgett ,

As stated currently we show only upcoming events in the Illinois app. if we want to show past events as well, we will have to think on where they could be shown.

We suggest to add one more section in the group detail "Past Events" similar to "Upcoming events". These past events would be visible only to the group admin. What do you think about that? Do you have any other suggestions?

I would not recommend a single section with merged upcoming and past events because this could produce some issues on both frontend and backend.
