My name is Anirudh Venkatraman, and I am currently a computer science student in Grainger. I had previously been in contact with Clint Stearns regarding using a peer-to-peer connectivity system in order to measure wait times at dining halls—in essence, phones with the Illinois app would be able to see phones nearby and form graphs over a server, which can then be traversed to find the longest path, i.e. the length of the line.
I was wondering if it would be possible to further explain the algorithm in person, and hopefully iron out some of the details, since I think this could be a great resource for students if implemented. I also attached a video demo and the github implementation of the overall idea. Thank you so much for your time and consideration!

Describe the request: Hi Tom,
Thank you so much for your response—I had been in conversation with Clint regarding possibly adding a new feature to the Illinois App (an algorithm for determining wait times at dining halls). We wanted to present this idea in more detail possibly in person/virtually to gain more feedback and see if it would be feasible for implementation in the app itself. I also added the github and a demo for reference. Thank you so much!
Best,
Anirudh
