this seems to be a clear bug - and thus I would consider it high priority
Yes, except that there is a workaround if the bug is not found (append a slash to the end of the path name). Additionally, having already spent hours on it, this bug seems to be incredibly difficult to isolate. Thus, it might not be worth the time given that the workaround is available.
are you planning to add the workaround for Indigo?
Yes, I had planned to, but the bug no longer happens. Somehow it seems to have disappeared - odd...

On Macintosh Snow Leopard, when creating a new synchronization project, the last character of the root location is removed after the user pushes OK. This bug occasionally does not occur and never seems to occur on linux.
