causing ramdisk error qnap ts659

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.run transmission connecting to a qnap -- ts 659 - (mac os x client)
2. download some torrents
3. watch the qnap error constantly w/ ramdisk full (unable to save config file 
etc) errors.
error disappears as soon as transmission is quit or removed

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
3.x mac os x

The problem is not related to trnansgui.

Happens to me too. Started right after transmission install.
