No upload and download speed

What steps will reproduce the problem?

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
No upload and download speed is shown in any window (total, per torrent etc) 
while downloading and uploading works fine

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Ubuntu 10.10 64bit
transgui svn rev 651
Transmission 2.21 (11852)

Update your transmission version. There was such bug in the transmission 
daemon...

Hi,
You are right. I tested with the newer version 2.33 (12565) on my localhost.
For the moment I can not update my transsmision version as it runs on an mips 
headless box and the mainainer no longer supports this machine.
I tried to cross compile a newer version but I had no luck as I am not 
experienced.
