Does doubleclick on the tray icon restores the transgui window?

It does, and it restores it back to the workspace it was started on, but after
a new switch in goes away again.

Probably a window manager forces apps to minimize and the "Minimize to tray"
option in transgui hides the app to tray. Try to turn off this option and see
what will happen.

If I switch that option off, yes, it works. However, no other program (apart
from, probably, Adobe AIR) has such problems.

Do you mean other programs with minimization to tray?

No changes can be made since there is conflict between minimizing app on
desktop switch by a window manager and an option to hide to tray.

Why don't other programs with such an option don't conflict with a window
manager? It's certainly a bug.

I don't consider it as a bug, so I will not fix it anyway.
Patches are welcome.
