Nope - does Vertnet index papers also ? I thought it was a database for which a dataset need to be supplied. I searched the website - could not find any explicit area where I can uploaded - except for a Contact us.

Hi Praveen,
It has been fun to watch your progress through these feedback messages, and gratifying that it works to make the original collections data better. So thank you and Brad for your efforts and willingness to use the system so effectively.
VertNet does not index publications, per se, but we make recommendations to authors about how best to cite data sets and publications in our VertNet norms document, which can be found at
http://vertnet.org/resources/norms.html
We are just about to integrate a more complete and consistent citation format both for data sets and records, and include that in the data for every record in VertNet.
Cheers,
John Wieczorek

I think this particular specimen would have come from Sindh or Balochistan in present day Pakistan - a check on the original tag should help. If not, atleast map it to Pakistan as the species does not occur in India Praveen
