I do not yet see the results of the date format change, nor of the institutionCode change, in the published data. I specifically checked the mammal Darwin Core archive, but it looks from publication dates (mostly 22 Jan) that changes have not been pushed out yet.
Hi: I will change the records tomorrow morning.
I was reading the ISO standard and it says that dates should be "0" filled. If this is the case re cords with no dates should be 0000-00-00. Right?
Examples of a wide range of valid dates are given in the description of the eventDate field (http://rs.tdwg.org/dwc/terms/index.htm#eventDate) for Darwin Core. I would NOT use 0s except where required to pad single digits in months and days.
Thus,
2015 2015-04 2015-04-14
but not 2015-00-00 2015-00-14 2015-00 0000-00-00

Ok. Tomorrow by end of day. Unless something like today comes up. I have put this aside. My fault.

Looks good. Thanks!
Hi:
On another topic...I noticed just a while ago that GBIF has started adding DOI information to pages from IPTs.
Some, but not all, have it from VertNet's IPT and ours.
MVZs bird collection is http://doi.org/10.15468/r1woj3
Plus others... for example AMNH does not have one for the Bird Collection on GBIF.
ROMs
http://doi.org/10.15468/mmh1bl - Herpetology Collection
http://doi.org/10.15468/syisbx - Ichthyology Collection

http://doi.org/10.15468/s0pqqg - Ornithology Collection Non Passerines
http://doi.org/10.15468/ahiyvz - Ornithology Collection Passerines

Yep. Having one or not depends on when they were last published.

In this and all other records in the ROM data sets, the eventDate is not constructed according to ISO8601 recommendations, where the format having months or days in it uses two digits for each. Thus, for this record, the eventDate should be 1967-05-09.
