To make things more concrete, let's start with a simple projet:

make an importer from weechat logs to an sql database
run it automatically every n minutes and only import what changed
make a basic visualizer to view the content of the database and search info in it

It will also make it possible for the user to directly query the sql database (probably not through the visualizer), which might be interesting.
