https://meetfranz.com/ The objective is kind of similar to this project : instant messaging interoperability. Good points:

lot of im apps supported
read/write in real time
windows/mac/linux (but no android/iphone)

Problems:

not opensource : how can users trust it with their account ?
logs : where are logs ? are they stored properly ? are they available from multiple devices ?
features : I didn't test it, but I doubt they integrated all the features of all the im apps
