On Emacs 24.5.1 the recenter timer is not that quick and causes a ghosting effect when switching buffers. This is espacially visible when quit-window is added to golden-ratio-extra-commands and executed when returning back to the source window

Looks like Emacs 25 is coming soon so changes will be worthless then.
