[Germicidal UV Lamps] Germs not dying. #43

REQUIRED: Describe the bug

The game is updated with October 2023 Qol update. The big UV lamp is in my polluted water tank. It works 24/24 but no effect on germs. They are growing and growing.

Hey, sorry for taking so long to acknowledge this bug.

Is there any chance you still have the problem and could share your current config file from the mod? I'm wondering if the issue is just that the rate of growth of the germs overpowers the rate of death caused by the lamp. I would say you might just need two lamps but it's not a justified solution.

For now you can probably solve the problem by changing the mod settings to make the UV lamp have a lower half-life (number of seconds to kill half the germs). Try setting it to 1.0, I think the default was 10.0.
