Hi, thank for this library!

I've zero C experience and very struggle to compile sample program (took me 2 days), I would like to contribute this so the next person don't have to go through my pain.

Sorry for not coming back to you sooner, I simply totally forgot about it. I updated the main README.md, which I find preferable to adding a second one. I will therefore close this pull request without merging it. Thanks for your feedback.
