Sorry what's your use case for this? Like how do you imaging using these files, outside of just having them in romm to view/download?
I typically write the Amiibo file to an NFC tag, and then use with my Switch. Such as https://www.amiiboss.com/
Example: Write Sanrio Amiibo card to NFC tag, then use in-game in Animal Crossing.
I believe some emulators have Amiibo support as well: https://www.reddit.com/r/Citra/comments/gq42qm/can_someone_explain_how_to_use_amiibos_on_this_to/ example video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iB_o_7y2Gok
In this case, RomM would simply be an organizer where I can pull the files and write to NFC tag or use within emulator
Sure I can backlog this but it'll be very low priority given how niche it is.
You can replicate this today manually by creating a roms/amiibo
folder and adding the files there. Create a folder for each one, name it like "Metal Mario", put your BIN and NFC files in there, scan and they should appear in your library. You can then upload custom images for each one.
I can go ahead and add a platform icon for amiibo as well to make it feel a bit more integrated :)
That would be awesome! I think amiibo.ico
would be the right name, though feel free to recommend something more appropriate.
wow didnt even realise this was a thing being dumped... but now that i do, thankyou muchly
Closed as basically already supported

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. Add support for Amiibo collection. Amiibos can be used for games on various Nintendo platforms such as the Wii U, Switch, and 3DS.
Amiibo dumps can be found in the following GitHub project - https://github.com/AmiiboDB/Amiibo
Describe the solution you'd like It would be great to add amiibo collection support, perhaps list amiibos under a console type?
There are various sites which have information on Amiibos.
Examples: https://www.amiiboapi.com/ https://amiibo.life/
Describe alternatives you've considered I haven't found any alternative solutions for this.
