Settings lost upon restart ? #11

Dear @ron282 ,

Thanks for porting Kaidan to SaifishOS, your work is really appreciated.

I initiated a conversation yesterday with one of my friend. I shut the application down during the night and just started it up again. Looks like settings are not properly saved. Upon restart I need to tap the "let's start" button, then choose "Continue without QR code", and "Use an existing account", and enter my XMPP credentials.

All the messages I sent and received yesterday are also encrypted with OMEMO and cannot be decrypted...

Could you please have a look ? Am I doing something wrong ?

Thankd Samuel. I will have a look but I don't have a lot of time. Please expect delays. Can you inidicate what is your device? Was Omeo encryption working fine?

unfortunately this error still exists in last version 0.10.0-3 Thank you for porting kaidan to sailfish. I'll wait for the version which can store the settings well with excitement.

I really appreciate your efforts to bring kaidan to Sailfish!!!

A workaround that seemed to fix this for me was starting it from the terminal and logging in. subsequent restarts would then still be logged in

@lxea Thanks for this input. The desktop file is likely incorrect and SailJail prevents saving settings. I will check that.
