Or at least request an update to the weather, similar to how the clock widget
works in CyanogenMod. Awesome lock screen widget though.

I would prefer if it just updates the weather...

The ability to choose between updating the weather or launching a weather app
of our choosing would be wonderful.

Yes. Having the options to

* open weather app
Or
* update current weather by tapping weather
Or
* both

With also the option to set refresh rate.

Nonetheless I like where this app is headed..
Good job.

There seems to be a lot of disparity on stock Android to do with weather.
Google Now shows weather and loads Google Weather. But that data is always
different to the stock Google News & Weather app, which in turn loads to
Weather.com.

Let's have the option so when we click the weather icon, it loads the most
recent Google Now card. This should crucially work even if there is no
connection. Usually in that case no weather is displayed at all, but why not
recall the last known weather instead of show none at all. A weather forecast
is valid for days!

I agree, would be nice to choose the app it opens and to choose the source of
weather data, i like to keep the same weather information across all my
widgets.

I am okay with Yahoo weather. Would love to choose the weather app that gets
opened on clicking the weather tile...
