Does this still work for the latest version of NC ?

i have installed and enabled it but when going to the copied link it redirects me to the login page

Same here. Shame, it seemed to cover the exact use case I was hoping for

FYI I thought I had the same issue, but I simply had the wrong prefix in my config for the app. It's important to add your username to the "Copy prefix" in Settings > Sharing:

Settings for the sharingpath Nextcloud app. The copy prefix is https://NC-URL/apps/sharingpath/USERNAME and the sharing folder is path/to/public/dir

Then public URLs are at https://NCURL/apps/sharingpath/USER/path/to/public/dir/FILE-NAME.EXT

YMMV but this was what I was doing wrong 🙂
