We will need this in coschool :)
@agentlewis what is the use case in coschool? before we jump to any solution designs, what's the problem that coschool is meant to address here?
Adding more context:
Coschool is lees in need of using cobuy to increase their buying power and more a need to share info about what they buy and from who. There will be times where they want to buy as a group - eg laptops or laptop trolleys. And other times where they just want to buy the best value items. Eg pencils/stationary, toilet paper, etc.
In coschool we are looking to connect the schools to government negotiated suppliers. Schools will want to add their own suppliers on top of this. Regardless they will need to operate as a single purchaser sometimes and a group others.
I also see a need for this in gemeral. We want participants in cobuy to be able to buy as an individual or group. Some suppliers may have requirements that mean you have to buy through a group. Others might not. Eg local seller of home cooked meals wants to sell to people in the community. This seller makes it available to groups in the local and inviduals or groups can buy them. There may be different prices for these as well. Eg volume price points
Do peeps think the the flow would differ for a individual purchasing through the system rather then trying to participate as a group. Technically this is an order with one participant - so under the hood it's the same.
I was wondering if there was something like a "cart" which represented your personal order - ie not with others. Also concerned this could be confusing.
Maybe it's a turn on/off feature.
