Hi @AndersTao wouldn't a regular button work for you with a custom URL? I don't expect the app to show the password expiry for accounts linked with EC or does it? If so I agree with you and we should provide a custom URL
@jordywitteman it does, guess it reads from the Kerberos ticket like NoMAD, so making the link custom be really nice. The same schema as used for custom rows would work for what I would like to do (app/URL) ether open EC or forward to the website with info on how to change
@AndersTao Okay that's awesome! No local passcode policy in place?
I don't have access to this part in the company, so I can not confirm at 100% We run with local accounts with EC, so I guess AD password settings is set by this tool on local acount
You could check the Profiles section in System Preferences and look for a profile including Password Policies and the value Max Age set to something. I'll try to reproduce here as well when I have time using the Kerberos SSO Extension (basically the successor of EC).
Yep, you are right.. password policies are pushed
@jordywitteman @AndersTao : where did this end up? Enterprise Connect is sunsetting and we're supposed to switch to Kerberos SSO. Did you get this to work?
@bradtchapman we have moved to passwordless since, so did not investigate any further Sorry
Having the password info for the user in the app is really nice 👍🏼 We need the user to open Enterprise Connect to change the password, so it would be nice to have the option to select the service to use as you have done with the custom buttons. Forwarding the user to the application or a URL with the password change information
