Cheat device hangs harvest moon a wonderful life at initial loading screen

Tested this with Cheat Device v1.6 and wasn't able to recreate the issue. Can you please give me some more info about your setup?

What version of Cheat Device are you using? What region is the game for? I tested the NTSC-U/C version. Are your running the game from disc or through a loader (OpenPS2Loader, ESR, etc.)? What cheats did you have enabled when the hang occurs? Does the hang occur if you start the game from Cheat Device without any cheats enabled?

I'm using cheat device 1.6 ,using a ntsc copy running from esr, and I have max gold, all tools, never tired/hungry. the hang occurs at the first "now loading..." screen before the main menu and the game does hang without cheats I'm also useing a phat PS2 of the scph- 30001 variety

it works fine in pcsx2 but not on hardware
