Beta & Release Candidates Tags #20

Summary

Would love to see beta and RC tagging if possible.

Motivation

Testing future versions of WP, in this case our docker and composer is git managed and would be easier to bump require-dev for testing purposes.

Additional context

Nope.

Ditto for wanting to try WP 5.9. What would the procedure be for making at least the RC versions available?

+1 want to test WordPress 6 beta release..

johnbillion commented 2 years ago

FYI there's a nightly branch that can be pulled in with dev-nightly but that does mean you'll jump to 6.1-alpha now that 6.0 is in RC.

Beta and RC tags would be useful.
