Updates to welcome section #90

Rewording so we don't call contributions that are not programming non-code contributions.

Added some other benefits to the list.

Added my name to the thanks to people who contributed to the guide.

I will be using the guide for the champions' training, so I would prefer to merge this. When you have time, we can update the new numbers. Thanks!
