It would be great if one could skip equation content from translation bt deepL in quarto qmd as it produces unexpected results.
for instance
$$ E = m \times c^2 $$
is "translated" to $$ E = m times c^2 $$
$$ E = m times c^2 $$
and $\alpha=1$ is transformed to $\\alpha=1$
$\alpha=1$
$\\alpha=1$
