The above commit adds the exported function, but it's not yet implemented within plumber itself until these questions have been answered https://github.com/ropensci-org/buffy/issues/80#issuecomment-1181721608

That's all done now, and external service PR is https://github.com/ropensci-org/buffy/pull/81. Even after that is merged, this still needs to be documented before closing.

Thanks! With the bot non-deploys, and issues with the YAML templates, it was all quite a bit more fraught than it needed to be. But made the pleasure of finally getting it deployed and working all the greater.
