Rendered mp4 video doesn't play #7

When I render an mp4 video based on several png images (produced by gganimate::animate()), all goes well when played from the directory it's written to. However, when played from a directory on another machine, the video seems empty. I tried to do the same with the rendered demo video, that comes with the package. That video plays the way it should, from wherever it is played from. So, there seems to go something wrong in the way I render the video.

Is this a known issue? Thanks in advance!

Can you please include all of the following:

Your sessionInfo()
Either a copy of the video or the code you used so we can reproduce it.
Details about which video player doesn't play it.
If the same video does work with another media player (such as VLC) on the same machine.

Sorry for this very late response. I haven't been able to pinpoint the exact problem. I didn't always occur. Since I use a newer computer I don't have the problem anymore. I will close this issue.
