Change by reference only if specified #27

We do so far not make copies of large objects but rather change them in place. Lets make copies by default but introduce extra arguemt "copy" with alternatives:

NULL - copy small objects but stop for large and require explicit specification
TUE - copy
FALSE - no copy (reference class)
