Fix appveyor #7

There's a chance that this is a problem on Windows, so do a windows test first.

Looks like there's a mix of harmless path normalisation/slash issues that can be easily dealt with in the tests and a possibly more serious issues with finding and authorising a specific key.

Fixed on appveyor, broken on travis :)
