Maintenance status / help needed? #179

Do you still intend to become this package's maintainer?

If so do you need any help? For instance an aspect where you'd appreciate some tips, contributions, a PR review? Do you need an invitation to our friendly Slack workspace?

Hi @maelle ! Yes I do -- sorry, been a hectic period recently. As discussed in #178 I'd be more than happy to have any additional authors or maintainers, but I'm still happy to be the primary person dealing with CRAN and so on. I'll make a point of sending CRAN a patch update to change maintainers next week, if that's alright with everyone (including @sckott , who will need to approve the email I believe).
