Hello,

I was wondering why the onekp project is using google drive to host its research data. I personally don't think it is a good idea to store and link towards scientific data on servers from a company like Google.

Can we find the data listed on http://www.onekp.com/public_data.html also on a scientific repository? The NCBI project listed in the paper seem to list different files.

@bedroesb This is a good question. When I first made this package, the files were accessible through FTP. Later they were moved to Google Drive. This caused me a great deal of trouble. Google Drive is also blocked by many organizations (and some countries).

I believe there is also an interface to the data through CyVerse, though this package doesn't yet support that interface.
