@epress12 may have already mentioned this when we were chatting earlier today and I missed it, but I noticed Source Code for Biology and Medicine has a new R/Bioconductor section--described as: This section will showcase well-documented and usable software packages, workflows, and data resources. But of course money to submit is no fun so 🤷♀️
Let's keep updating this list as we think of possibilities. I suggest we try to get peer review of code in addition to a "software paper". But depending on how we develop this package, we may try other options. Ideally, it would be good to avoid a publication cost.
Some ideas we've had so far, not necessarily in order:
