library(pdftools) fails, sometimes kills session.

This is the only package I seem to have problems with, Any suggestions most welcome.

Repost of https://github.com/ropensci/pdftools/issues/96 This is unrelated to pdftools, the problem is this:

(with error: package ‘Rcpp’ successfully unpacked and MD5 sums checked
Warning: cannot remove prior installation of package ‘Rcpp’
Warning: restored ‘Rcpp’)

You need to quit all R sesions (restart your computer if needed) and then open R (not rstudio) and re-install Rcpp.
