The current story starts with the data but often it also makes sense to include the materials that were used to collect the data. This may involve stimuli and presentation scripts in a variety of languages.

This is a good question, I've made passing reference to it in https://github.com/ropensci/rrrpkg/pull/6. What would be great is a nice real-world example to refer to, do you have one that you can recommend?

I'm not aware of a published repository that includes the materials used for data collection. I'm currently working on one but it doesn't follow all the recommendations given in the current proposal because it's a multi-experiment study, see #5.
