Explain how and why the package falls under these categories (briefly, 1-2 sentences). Please note any areas you are unsure of: It automates the workflow of calculating market structure, concentration, and competition measures, which - of course - can be calculated one by one. The package calculates 12 measures in one step.
Who is the target audience and what are scientific applications of this package?
The target audience might be researchers and pratitioners in the field (Market competetion regulation, Consumer defense). The related research article (which inspired me to write my first package (and a lot of other things which come along with that) is under review (in german language), hower, there is a draft in english available.
Are there other R packages that accomplish the same thing? If so, how does yours differ or meet our criteria for best-in-category? Yes, but just one or two measures, e.g. Herfindahl-Hirschman Index
(If applicable) Does your package comply with our guidance around Ethics, Data Privacy and Human Subjects Research?
