[FEATURE] Prominent display of country information in the search UI to support better disambiguation of similarly named records #257

Version v2

Describe the problem you would like to solve DTIC (Defense Technical Information Center - https://ror.org/01zqyhk59) frequently uses the ROR search UI to identify state organizations in different countries. When searching for terms like "Ministry of Health," multiple results from different countries are returned. Although the country is listed in the locations field, it's not immediately visible or prominent in the search results, making it difficult and time-consuming to identify the correct record and especially when dealing with similarly named government agencies worldwide. While we inherited the GRID practice of including country name in the ROR display name for company records, the curation board has determined that this should not be extended to other records and these values should possibly be removed from companies in the future.

Describe the solution you'd like Make the country information more prominently displayed in the ROR search UI. Possible improvements include:

  1. Extracting the country information from the locations field and displaying it prominently next to the organization name in search results.
  2. Adding a new discrete field specifically for country, separate from the locations field, to make it easier to display and search by country.
  3. Modifying the search results display to prioritize showing the country information from the locations field, even if other location details are truncated.
