Summary of request: Modify the information in an existing ROR record

Update record: Name of organization: Czech Academy of Sciences ROR ID: https://ror.org/053avzc18 Which part of the record needs to be changed? Other names or name versions listed in the record Description of change: The Czech Academy of Sciences has different abbreviations in use.

Currently used: CAS and AVČR / AV ČR Also used: ASCR / AS CR

ASCR seems to be an English translation of AVČR. lt is currently not used very visible on the website. But you can find them in a lot of documents, websites, and database entries, e.g., this list (from the original avcr.cz website): https://www.avcr.cz/export/sites/avcr.cz/.content/galerie-souboru/hodnoceni/Division_of_institutes_into_categories.pdf

For mapping purposes, it would be beneficial to have this alternative abbreviation on file.

This change would affect the parent, but also all child institutes.

Update: label.delete== Akademie věd České Republikycs | label.add==Akademie věd České republikycs | acronyms.replace==AV ČRcs; CASen$

@janderova Could you review this proposed set of changes? I looked at the affiliation usage, and there does appear to be extensive affiliation use of the "Institute of X ASCR" forms, such that we should probably add as aliases to facilitate matching.

Thank you for your suggestions, however, I discussed with the management of the Czech Academy of Sciences, which does not want to include old or incorrect abbreviations in the ROR records of the CAS and its institutes, therefore we will leave only valid abbreviations AV ČR (cs) and CAS (en).

Adam, could you change please in https://ror.org/053avzc18: from Akademie věd České Republiky (cs) to Akademie věd České republiky (cs) could you delete acronym AVČR? add AV ČR Thank you!
