There appear to be some secondary references to this (e.g. https://doi.org/10.1007/978-3-658-37143-2_1; https://doi.org/10.1007/978-3-658-37143-2), but no evidence publication affiliation usage I can find. This may be okay to add, but I'd appreciate a second review. @MSpenger Could you take a look?

looks ok for me, too. there are similar affiliation use cases from team members (e.g. https://link.springer.com/book/10.1007/978-3-662-60288-1)
