Affiliation usage is somewhat limited, but has acknowledgements/funding references as well, so this is fine to change.

We are publishing this article (just submitted final revision yesterday) https://doi.org/10.5194/egusphere-2024-48 and the submission page asked for our ROR affiliation, that's how we came accross this registry system. This research was made by our team at MeteoIA, that's the reason for asking affiliation usage for future papers.
