Arguable whether this should have been a record itself to begin with, as it appears to have been a sponsored research area at Stanford as opposed to a discrete organization. Now appears to have been dissolved and moved to Caltech in some fashion as part of the Biosphere Sciences & Engineering division. Here, there is even less evidence of discrete facilities, even compared with other Carnegie units (e.g. the Earth & Planets Laboratory, which at least lists core facilities). We could create a new unit for the division or make inactive and roll-up to the parent. Would appreciate a second review.
