@cmf2022 Can you tell us which publication is requiring a ROR ID? We strongly recommend against this practice, and we have also found that many authors have the mistaken impression that a ROR ID is required by a publication when it is not. Try contacting someone at the journal or publishing organization if you're unsure.

It is required for the Article Submission in Hindawi Portal. Attached here is the Proof.

@cmf2022 We've confirmed with Hindawi that no papers are being held up for lack of a ROR ID. If you respond via their platform and indicate that a ROR ID is not needed, the submission will proceed normally. We're working with Hindawi to update this messaging so that this is more clear. Apologies for the confusion. ROR is not able to add organizations where research outputs are associated with a only one person.
