Hi! I had nothing to do with this but I was curious also and found more articles about it. If you read their post about creating the model: https://towardsdatascience.com/background-removal-with-deep-learning-c4f2104b3157

...it says at one point they used a subset ("person" photos only) of the COCO dataset: http://cocodataset.org/

The rest of the article is pretty good also! Hope that helps you.
