As this repository currently doesn't contain licensing information apart from the tag inside the PKGBUILD it would be nice to add license information.
Obviously, we can't simply license code that we have neither written ourselves, nor explicitly got the permit by the authors to license it under a license. Assuming that all code inside this repo is licensed BSD probably isn't the cleanest way to move forward.
As apart from the people being involved in the discussion so far, there are only two committers, namely @bchretien and @hauptmech having contributed to this, the most straightforward approach would probably be to kindly ask them, whether they could state, whether
they created all the code they've written themselves / where the original code was from, so we can take the upstream license of that into account
license the code they've written under an open-source license, e.g. BSD-3-Clause.
This issue is to pick up the discussion from https://github.com/ros-noetic-arch/ros-noetic-desktop-full/issues/9
