Unintentional duplicates (again) #207

It may be cabin fever or some other form of Corona-induced madness (no, not the :beer: variety), but I'm getting a bit tired of having to close I don't know how many duplicates each day on ROS Answers.

We tried reporting it in #107, but that seems to have gone stale / ignored.

158 reports a related issue.

I even have the explain to new posters every now and then that "no, I did not just close and delete your question without explaining why; you posted your own duplicate".

Is there any ETA for when this issue may be addressed?

I've stopped moderating completely, partly because of this and other issues.

Perhaps the ROS community should consider migrating away from Askbot?
