'git clone' failure during jenkins job #68

doc job for my package from today reports:

Cloning into 'jenkins_scripts'... error: The requested URL returned error: 503 while accessing http://github.com/ros-infrastructure/jenkins_scripts.git/info/refs fatal: HTTP request failed

Github reports:

Please upgrade your git client. GitHub.com no longer supports git over dumb-http: https://github.com/blog/809-git-dumb-http-transport-to-be-turned-off-in-90-days

Not very bright, 503 means temporarily unavailable.
