Create a landing page with an overview above the fold #8

Possibly also embed the search into the main page?

Also a non-date of creation sorting would be nice. Potentially random for the landing page since the ones at the top of the list will be much more visible.

This should include a call for contributions for additions, updates, or extensions. People are not finding it in the footer.
