What this will do:
set the min. clip distance to 0.3 meters, so the robot is not visible in the kinect view
enable occlusion compensation
make the point size for the kinect stream bigger, so it appears less holey
make all interactive markers solid instead of semitransparent
enable visual aids (movement/rotation axes)
set the rendering mode of the kinect camera image to background only, so 3d stuff is better visible on top
