There is no information on how to proceed with the installation

You have to git clone it into your catkin_ws/src, and build it alongside your custom software. To be able to apt-get install it there would need to be a new release made (ideally for melodic and noetic).

It's already released into melodic. Noetic is still missing, unfortunately. :(
