Remove support for macOS/OSX. #719

We haven't had support for it for years, so there is no reason to keep it in the scripts. If we ever do reinstate support, we can always pull this from the git history.

As with the other PRs, I'm going to first deploy this to the test_ jobs, and run CI. Assuming that comes back green I'll merge and do a full deploy.
