Left over from wikipages (I literally just copied and converted the data) Let's change it and add a style guide : like | in See also, how to indicate PASM/SPIN keywords, ...

• Typical workflow.
  • Issues instead of discussion pages like in other wiki engines
  • Issue for todo lists
  • backlinking to the issue page id a page has issues?

GitHub's wiki engine is a "light" one... much of the neat stuff would be done by other engines automagically like tags in pages, backlinks, index page generation...

The help text at the top of the editor mentions [text](url) only for external links but [[text|url]] seems to work too...

eeeeeh... and I still don't see the difference of the link styles...

need to dig deeper somewhen later to find which one is to prefer in which context.

• [[pagename_or_url]] link to local page in wiki eg. [[test]] shows as test, links to test.md
• [[text|pagename_or_url]] link to local page in wiki, text will be diplayed, pagname can be different e.g. [[test|whatever]], shows as test, links to whatever.md
• text link to external page text is displayed. E.g test, show test links to google.com
• link to external page, shows and links to the url

Local pages are relative and will survive moving the wiki to another place . external links are absolute and yeah either style can be used (long live choice)
