Max motor setting appears to be sending PWM instead of full voltage. #10

We also appear to be seeing faults; fault reporting code may help debug this. See issue #5.

I also have some concern that the oscilliscope itself is somehow contributing; hopefully the fault reporting will also help determine if that's true.

Like issue #14, we should check if this happens only on USB power or on battery too. I'll do this as soon as I wire up and charge my battery.
